what are the contraindication of massage? do a person who has a hypertension can receive a massage? or person who has a monthly period ? and what if the therapist has a period as well, is it fine for her to do a massage?

Hypertension – Yes, but only light, sedating massage.

Monthly period – Massage will in no way affect your menstrual period, and will also help in case you have menstrual pains.
